All Living Things Are Breathing Now is a solo exhibition by Japanese artist duo Kyunchome, comprising Nabuchi (b. 1984, Mito) and Honma Eri (b. 1987, Yokohama). The exhibition explores the sea and coastal ecosystems as dynamic spaces where humans and multiple species interact, examining the complex relationship between land, water and living environments.
Developed through Kyunchome’s ongoing engagement with ecological and social questions, the exhibition reflects on resilience, memory and the enduring connections between human communities and the ocean. It considers the sea not only as a natural environment, but also as a site shaped by histories of migration, displacement, exploitation and social transformation.
Through their interdisciplinary practice, Kyunchome explore the ocean as both a physical and poetic space, bringing together questions of environmental change, survival, belonging and coexistence. The exhibition reflects on the ways in which human and non-human lives remain deeply interconnected, while considering the ocean as a repository of collective memory and histories of place.
